The past 18 months have seen increasing demand from consumers not only for faster delivery, but also for knowledge and accountability. Consumers want to know where their order is with real time and accurate information of when they can expect to receive their orders.

Mitch Bittermann, our Executive VP – Ecommerce recently shared his insight on The Jakarta Post on how retailers and third-party logistics providers can best manage expectations of consumers of today.

“The only way for retailers and logistics providers to be able to service this growing demand and master the last mile, is through rapid innovation and digital investment. As the region starts to move out of lockdown, consumers’ habits and behaviors will also start to again change, which may make timely and accurate online fulfilment even more challenging,” Mitch said.
